Newsletter Redesign
Community building, but make it even more personal.
A newsletter is a great bridge between Jackson and his fans. It’s a space that should do more than promote his merch, straight from his computer to their inboxes.
P.S. I started brainstorming on this last September 2025 and finally created it December that same year.
The moodboard:
This newsletter redesign proposal had these things in mind:
- To continue strengthening the connection between Jackson and his fans.
- To do more than sell Team Wang merchandise.
- To put the spotlight on Jackson as an artist, a multipotentialite, a polymath — while also being human, relatable.

The proposal:
I wanted to build on the great community that Jackson and Team Wang built. His presence online already has millions of followers. His social media channels have great engagement. His newsletter should align with that same energy.
In this redesign, Jackson’s latest updates — currently the announcement of additional countries in his Magicman 2 concert tour — is placed on top of the fold. This gives readers what’s new right away. Call-to-action buttons are placed, encouraging them to make a move.
Making the newsletter more personal and less commercial is including something that coextends with Jackson’s social media posts and interviews. It gives more personality, more warmth. It feels more like it came from Jackson himself.
I kept the merch section, since that was the original content. It also brings awareness to his latest projects outside of his music, drawing fans in closer to his world.
The voice and tone should be 100% Jackson, as if he’s talking directly to fans the same way he’d talk during an interview or during his concert.
Overall, this redesign proposal centers on being more warm and personal. Something that Jackson is known for everywhere. (Yes, my mom included. And yes, I was surprised to find out about it.)
